About St Brendan’s

St Brendan’s GAA Club, residing in the heart of Dublin 7, is one of the oldest sporting organisations in the area, with nearly 150 active playing members and 300 non-playing members.

Based in the former grounds of St. Brendan’s Hospital, Grangegorman, now the TUD Campus, the club’s home pitch is in the heart of the campus and we also have facilities in Longmeadows on Conyngham Road.

Our aim is to be an established leader in organizing, developing and promoting Gaelic Games in Dublin 7 and to be at the heart of the community, providing a positive, fun, challenging and inclusive experience for all our members – on and off the pitch.

At Adult level, the club fields two men’s football teams, a men’s hurling team and two ladies football teams.

At Juvenile level, the club runs a successful Saturday Club for Kids aged 4 to 13, with teams fielded at U-8 and U-10 and U-13.

2010 marked the club’s 90th anniversary and plans are afoot to celebrate its 100th milestone in style.
