The club AGM took place in the Lecture Rooms of St Brendan's Hospital and the following officers were elected.

President: Ollie Flynn
Chairman: John Brennan
Vice-Chairman John Mullen
Secretary: Johnny Walsh
Assistant Secretary: David Henry
Treasurer: Robbie Caulfield
Assistant Treasurer: Sean Roban
P.R.O: Ken Foxe

Football Team Captain for 2010: Peter Burke

Football Officer: Paul McDonough

Hurling Team Captain for 2010: Ronan Coone
Vice-Captain: Trevor Purtill
Selecters: Hughie Carroll, John Brennan, Shane Foley
Hurling Officer: Seamus Harrington

Also a decision to field a second football team for 2010 was deferred until the New Year. Agreement was also reached that training will start a little later than usual in the second week of February after a very long season for the hurling and football teams.

The club end of season awards also took place in Murrays of Bath Avenue and the winners were:

Hurler of the Year: Benny Carey
Hurling Newcomer of the Year: Peter Burke

Footballer of the year: Colin Garvin
Football Newcomer of the year: Tom Heery

Colin Garvin expressed his total shock at winning the Footballer of the year title and said he regretted not having put a tenner on himself at 100-1.

The winnings might not have gone too far at Shelbourne Park shortly afterwards, where the players all expressed thier disappointment that there was no Sharkey-owned greyhound running that might have livened up the atmosphere.

Finally, we are now on Facebook and are hoping as always to recruit some new players - both footballers and hurlers - for next year:
