    Hi,

I’m going to be working in Dublin as of Monday 9th April for the next 6 months (at least), and I was wondering if it was possible to participate in hurling practice if held during the week?

I have only dabbled a little in the sport many, many years ago, but am keen in getting fit and losing weight at the same time.

    Kind regards,

    Sean

      Hi Sean

Thanks for your interest. You would be most welcome to come down and train with us.

We have a range of skill and fitness levels and train twice a week when we have no midweek games. If you would like to call in we will be training tomorrow evening & you can contact me on 0877839633 for more details.

      Kind Regards
      Damien Daly

    Hi,

I live in Stoneybatter and am interested in playing Hurling. I’ve never played for a team before but am reasonable fit and have played other sports in the past. Would it make more sense to join a club with a number of hurling teams so I could slot in at the bottom team or is it appropriate level to join St. Brendan’s GAA?

    Thanks,
    David

    1. Damien Daly

      Hi David
      Thanks for your enquiry.

I myself have started playing hurling in the last year and have found that there is a range of hurling levels within our league. A little bit of fitness and a willingness to get stuck in will help skills develop quite quickly in our team as lads are very willing to pass on tips.

I will pass on your details to our hurling rep and he will get back to you.

      Regards
      Damien
