We have three wins to report on here.

On Tuesday April 21st, The St Brendan’s Camogie team, sponsored by Comtech Engineering and Ryans of Camden Street got their Junior 2 League season back on track with a 1-9 to 0-4 victory over Kilmacud Crokes at Longmeadows, with Niamh Byrne getting the goal.

24 hours later, The St Brendan’s Ladies Football 1st XV, Sponsored by McGowans continued the recent run of good form by scoring another 7 goals this week, this time against Bean Eidair in Howth. 6 points were also scored and the home side returned 3-9.

On Sunday April 26th, The St Brendan’s Men Football 1st XV, Sponsored by Dynamic Safety Solutions, made a bid for back to back wins in AFL6 at 12th Lock in Lucan and a fixture against Lucan Sarsfields. 

And The Dark Force prevailed on a final score of 1-13 to 2-8. The first half highlight being Washington Sean Whelan scoring a two pointer. However, with 20 minutes to go, a win looked unlikely, with St Brendan’s trailing by 7 points. There was no panic and the players remained calm as they chipped into the lead. A super goal from The Golden Mullet Conall Morgan, a two pointer from The Valley Rover Tadhg O’Brien, as well as a few single points including the first ever point scored by Scatman John Dorrian, swung the pendulum in St Brendan’s favour and victory number 2 for the year.

All roads lead to Longmeadows on Wednesday April 29th as the Football 1st XV bid for three in a row wins against Kilmacud Crokes.

The St Brendan’s Football 2nd XV, in partnership with Stoneybatter Pride of Place, are still looking for their first win of the 2026 AFL10A League, but came tantalisingly close this Sunday Afternoon when going down by 2 points against Clontarf, 2-11 to 1-16. The Landlord Andy Moran scoring both goals, with Fergal ‘I Am Maximus’ Lyons supplying the final pass to both goals and chipped in with a few points himself.
